About International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
IELTS is a universally accepted English language proficiency test that evaluates a candidate’s English language skills. This test is mainly designed for non-native English speakers who wish to migrate, study, or work in dominant English-speaking countries. IELTS tests an aspirant’s English skills in all four modules, namely, Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking, on a nine-band scale.

IELTS Test Format – Academic & General
IELTS has two exam patterns: Academic and General Training. IELTS Listening, Reading, and Writing components of the IELTS Test are conducted on the same day and takes around 2 hours and 45 minutes. While IELTS Speaking test is conducted either on the same day or within a week prior or after that.

IELTS Results
The IELTS results are generally released within three days to 13 days, based on the mode of application.
Time taken for results of computer-based IELTS test: 3-5 Days.
Time taken for results of paper-based IELTS test: 13 days.
